Presidential Dollar Error Coins
The Presidential Dollar coin series has already generated a wide variety of unique mint error coins due to its edge lettering. The coins are supposed to have the mottos "In God We Trust" and "E Pluribus Unum" and the date and mint mark inscribed on the edges of the coin.
In some cases, Presidential Dollars have been found with smooth edges or missing lettering. In other cases, the coins have been found with double lettering, sometimes double inverse lettering.
These different error coins have made some interesting collectibles for error coin collectors or Presidential Dollar collectors.
